Coventry parents speak of radicalisation fear

A crisis management team is being set up in Coventry after it emerged three young men from the city may have gone to fight with an extremist group in Syria.

The three friends, Ali Kalantar, Rashid Amani and Mohammed Hadi, travelled from Coventry to Turkey. They are now believed to be in Syria, near the city of Aleppo.

BBC Midlands Today spoke to Rahim Kalantar, father of computer science student Ali, Khabir Amani, father of business studies student Rashid and Dr Abdullah Shehu from Coventry Muslim Forum.
