Parents' plea to MPs after their son's brain tumour death
A couple from Warwickshire whose son died from a brain tumour has secured a House of Commons debate over spending on scientific research.
Stephen Realf, a trainee RAF pilot from Rugby, died in 2014 when he was 26.
His family started a petition calling for more money to investigate brain tumours which more than 120,000 people have signed.
His parents Liz and Peter Realf want the Government to invest at least £30m into fighting the disease.
Around 16,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with brain tumours each year. MPs will debate funding levels at a date yet to be fixed.
