Kingsbury Water Park gnome massacre provokes public outcry

Members of the public have come to the rescue of a gnome village that was vandalised.

The culprits broke in to a miniature railway and smashed up dozens of its trademark gnomes, scattering little hats and fishing rods across the tracks.

Since the attack on Saturday, donations of gnomes have been handed in at Echills Wood Railway, part of Kingsbury Water Park in Warwickshire.
