Cumbrian woman, 95, starts Hadrian's Wall trek
A retired teacher from Cumbria has started an 84-mile trek across Hadrian's Wall.
Doris Hancock, 95 from Ambleside, plans to complete the walk in five-mile stints, two days a month, until October.
Mrs Hancock said she had been inspired by a book about the wall and wanted to complete the walk before she gets "too old".
She will raise money for the charity CentrePoint and celebrate her 96th birthday along the way.
