Threlkeld Cricket Club calendar showcases extreme games

A Cumbria cricket club has been playing matches in locations including a frozen tarn, on the back of a steam train and even underwater.

Photographs of the Threlkeld team playing extreme cricket have been used in a calendar to raise funds for the club after floods ruined their pitch.

The overflow from a blocked culvert caused tens of thousands of pounds of damage during heavy rainfall a year ago.
