'Miracle' twins from Wigton prepare for first family Xmas together
A Cumbrian family are preparing to celebrate their first Christmas at home together after their twins survived a traumatic birth against all the odds.
When Wigton mum Mandy Marsden went into labour at just 23 weeks, twins Joshua and Darcy were both born severely premature.
They weighed barely three pounds between them, and doctors warned their parents their chances of survival were just 1 in 5.
But after months of treatment in separate premature baby units, both have made it through and are flourishing.
