Author Philip Pullman, whose novel Northern Lights went on to become Hollywood movie The Golden Compass, has had one his stories adapted for the stage.

"I was a Rat" opens in Nottingham on Tuesday.

Ahead of the premiere, the fantasy writer met BBC East Midlands Today's Geeta Pendse.
