Big bull mastiff Mizzy sheds two stone

A bull mastiff has been named runner-up in a national pet slimming competition, shedding 20% of her bodyweight.

Animal charity PDSA held its annual slimming competition for pets.

Owner Cheryl Pedley and vet Lorna Clark said five-year-old Mizzy - the heaviest dog to ever compete in the competition - lost two stone and slimmed down to 9st 4lb (59kg).
