Insight footage into Derby's new velodrome

Footage has been released to give people an insight into what Derby's new £28m velodrome would look like.

The 5,000-seat arena plans to host high-level cycling events, as well as other sports including basketball and volleyball in its multi-sports area.

It will also be a concert venue. As well as the 250m cycle track and 12-court sports hall, there will be a gym, group exercise space and a cafe.

Work is expected to finish in November with it opening in January 2015.
