Wild beavers give birth in east Devon
Beavers returned to the wild as part of a reintroduction project have given birth.
Video has been captured of a beaver with a kit on the River Otter in East Devon.
The animals are living on the River Otter as part of a pilot scheme being carried out by the Devon Wildlife Trust.
The trust was granted a five-year licence by Natural England in January 2015 to manage the pilot scheme.
It said the latest arrivals, believed to total three kits, were an encouraging sign and suggested their return to the wild was going well.
Beavers were hunted to extinction in England and Wales during the 12th Century, but a family of wild beavers was spotted in 2014.
