Tornado creates amazing Devon water spout

These amazing pictures show a water spout whipped up by the wind over the Devon coast.

The swirling mass of water was created by a tornado over the sea.

Fluctuating weather conditions have led to a spate of water spouts and funnel clouds in the area.

The Met Office confirmed the sighting at about 19:30 BST on Tuesday.
