'Unclaimed' Dartmoor hill ponies saved by Cornwall sanctuary

A Cornwall horse sanctuary has stepped in to save nine Dartmoor hill ponies.

Many ponies are left unclaimed on the moor every year, and face being culled if homes cannot be found for them, says Hill Pony Resources.

Shires Holt Horse Sanctuary is among a number of charities which help rehome the ponies.
