Hydro technology used to power Castle Drogo

Hydro technology is being used once again to supply electricity to a castle in Devon.

The original turbines at Castle Drogo on Dartmoor have been restored - with some digital additions - to bring power to the castle 700ft above using water from the River Teign.

The restored system will provide the castle with more than half its electricity, saving thousands of pounds.
