Pony therapy: Cockington's pint-sized pony takes bus ride

A pint-sized pony has been familiarising itself with everyday situations as part of its training to become a therapy animal.

Patrick the pony, from Cockington in Devon has been training for the last few months and has been spotted on the bus, in pubs and on the high street.

Therapy animals are becoming increasingly popular in the UK and often visit residential homes and hospitals to bring comfort and companionship to those who need it.

Patrick's owner Kirk Petrakis, says he gets a lot of attention when spotted in the town.
