Husky fans gather in Wareham, Dorset

Husky owners in Dorset are gathering to raise awareness of the breed, best known for pulling sleds in Arctic regions.

The breed has one of the biggest rehoming problems in the UK with many owners unable to cope with dogs bought as puppies.

Enthusiasts at the event being held at Wareham say it takes time and dedication to have a husky as a pet.
