Solar farm 'would wreck landscape'

Campaigners fighting a proposal to build a solar farm near Mapperton in Dorset say it would wreck the landscape.

The company Good Energy wants to put more than 120,000 panels on 158 acres of land on the Charborough Estate, which is owned by the family of Dorset South MP Richard Drax.

If approved it would generate enough power for 6,000 homes but opponents say it is not the right place for development.
