Dorset crime scene security contracted out to Securitas

Major crime scenes in Dorset are to be guarded by a private company in a four-month trial.

Staff employed by the firm Securitas will take the place of police officers.

The county's police and crime commissioner Martyn Underhill says it will save money and free up front line officers.

But the Police Federation has called it a move towards privatisation.
