Musical tells story of Tyneham village evacuation

A group of Dorset musicians and singers are staging a new production telling the story of a village taken over by the military during World War II.

More than 200 residents of Tyneham near Lulworth had to leave their homes in 1943 when the area was needed as part of a tank firing range.

Tyneham: No Small Sacrifice, which runs until Saturday at The Bay Theatre in Weymouth, has been written by 18-year-old Jordan Clark to mark the 70th anniversary of the evacuation.
