Dorset council gets 1,000 pothole reports

More than 1,000 potholes and other road defects have been reported to Dorset County Council since 1 January.

Flooding and storms caused by the recent bad weather have been blamed.

It is a similar story for other councils who say the bill for repairs will run into millions of pounds.
