Bournemouth couple celebrates 50 years

Fifty years ago a Valentine Day's bride won a competition to have her wedding broadcast on BBC South.

Maurice and Sharon Blake married on 14 February 1965 and are now celebrating their golden wedding anniversary - also captured on camera by the BBC South team.

Mr Blake said: "Because of our [young] age they said our marriage wouldn't last, but we have lasted."

He said the secret to a happy marriage was "never go to bed on an argument".

His wife added: "Stay up and fight!"
