Pensioner waves at traffic in Dorset village of Swyre

A 79-year-old man has been waving at traffic as it passes through a west Dorset village.

Michael Ebdon has become a regular sight for car, bus and lorry drivers as he stands outside the village pub in Swyre between Bridport and Abbotsbury.

He has been carrying out his morning waving ritual for more than eight years.
