Dolphin delights British sailors training off Dorset
A playful dolphin has delighted members of the British sailing team by leaping out of the water for them to watch.
Sam Whaley and George Povall, who sail for Great Britain in the laser class, were training off Weymouth and Portland on Tuesday when the dolphin started to jump out of the water around their boats.
Whaley said: "They were jumping so high, in one case above two metres."
Champion sailor Jon Emmett was also on the water at the time and can be seen in the video.
He said: "I have to say it is very hard to focus on sailing your boat when you have dolphins playing around you. It looked like a mother teaching her calf how to jump."
