Mad Men: Essex illustrator Brian Sanders creates TV artwork

A 75-year-old former advertising artist from Essex has been commissioned to create the promotional artwork for the new season of global television hit Mad Men.

The work of illustrator Brian Sanders, from Saffron Walden, was spotted by the show's producers in a book of sixties illustrations.

Mr Sanders, who worked in advertising in the sixties, says he is also a fan of the period television series, based in an advertising agency.
