Ryanair expands Stansted Airport operation

Low cost airline Ryanair is expanding its operation at Stansted.

Chief executive Michael O'Leary said the airline was increasing the number of flights from 490 to 700 a week and flying to more destinations.

Passenger numbers at the Essex airport have fallen dramatically during the recession.
