Recording of boys' 999 call to fire service released

A recording of a 999 call made by two boys trapped in a burning house in Northampton has been released by the fire service.

James Scott and his brother Liam had to climb out of the bedroom window and down a ladder to escape the blaze on Briar Hill last year.

The pair recently received an award for their bravery and the Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service call-handler a commendation for her actions.
