Bus given as night shelter for homeless in Ipswich

A bus company has donated a vehicle to a charity to be converted into accommodation for homeless people.

Stephensons of Essex has given the double decker to Bus Shelter Ipswich after hearing about the charity on BBC Radio Suffolk.

Mark Sayer, from the bus company, said they were delighted to see it going to such a good home.

The charity hopes to have the bus on the road as a night shelter for homeless people by March.
