Firm fined £24,000 after tree near-miss in Debden

A tree care firm has been fined £24,000 after an 82ft (25m) tree they were felling crashed down on to two cars, narrowly missing two people.

The FA Bartlett Tree Expert Company was carrying out the work at Torrington Drive, Debden, near Waltham Abbey, Essex, last summer when the tree was felled in the wrong direction.
