Clacton Airshow: Fireworks fired from helicopter wow crowds

A spectacular fireworks display involving a helicopter brought day one of the Clacton Airshow to a close.

Smoke and pyrotechnics were launched into the air from a specially designed helicopter called Otto.

They were accompanied by music and fireworks set off from the seafront.

Thousands gathered to watch a day of aerobatic displays as the airshow marked its 30th anniversary.
