Gloucester parade before Christmas lights switch on
Hundreds of children have paraded through Gloucester city centre bearing lanterns, shining ships and sea creatures they had made.
The procession, based on the 'I Saw Three Ships' carol, featured creations which had been built by city school children who had worked with professional artists.
As they walked, the city's Christmas lights burst into life around them.
