Korean army chief thanks Gloucestershire Regiment veterans

The Chief of Staff of the South Korean army, General Kim Yo-hwan, has visited Gloucester to thank veterans for their actions in the Korean war more than 60 years ago.

Soldiers from the 1st Battalion The Gloucestershire Regiment fought a desperate action on Hill 235 at the infamous Battle of Imjin River to prevent Chinese forces from breaking through.
