'Wild boars tore up my lawn'

An estimated 1,500 wild boars are now roaming free in the Forest of Dean, according to analysis by the forestry commission.

Wild boars were hunted to extinction in England in the 17th century, but in the Forest of Dean 12 years ago around 60 farmed animals were illegally dumped.

Despite various culls they are now flourishing, and this is causing problems for local residents.
