Surfers and kayakers enjoy riding Severn Bore near Gloucester
Crowds of people have lined the banks of the River Severn near Gloucester to watch the first four-star bore of the year.
The narrowing shape and reducing depth of the river estuary helps to funnel high tides into a bore wave that can run for several miles.
Surfers and kayakers took advantage of the wave as it swept along the river earlier.
