US tank convoy rolls into Dorchester
A 1940s military convoy has been in Dorchester to re-enact the D-Day preparations which consumed the town nearly 70 years ago.
Local school children were able to see the vehicles there for a weekend series of events called Armour & Embarkation.
Weymouth and Portland were key embarkation points for the Normandy invasion.
Troops, tanks and other military vehicles made their way from there on the way to liberate Europe.
