'No redundancies' in Ford closure

Ford has announced that there will be no compulsory redundancies when its Southampton factory closes later this month.

The company says it has reached a deal with every worker. Most of them will leave voluntarily - including taking early retirement.

A few will move to other Ford sites in Wales and Essex and more than 100 workers will stay on to refurbish secondhand cars.
