Homeless woman Su Seymour living in a car in Gosport

A Hampshire woman says she has been forced to live in her car for the past four months as the council cannot find her a suitable home.

Su Seymour, 62, is on the autistic spectrum and insists she has to live in a certain part of Gosport. She says she could not cope with shared accommodation.

Mrs Seymour lost her home in 2011 when her husband died and was evicted from rented accommodation earlier this year.

Gosport Borough Council said it had offered her accommodation within five minutes' drive of the area she wants to live in, but she has turned down all offers so far.
