Southsea teacher finds corn snake in kitchen cupboard

A schoolteacher from Southsea got a slithery surprise when she opened her kitchen cupboard - a 3ft (1m) corn snake.

It was on the loose in her flat for two days until a friend helped her catch it. She is now going to keep it as a pet.
