Queen's Baton visits Southampton as part of Glasgow 2014 countdown

The Queen's Baton Relay has arrived in Southampton on its tour of the home nations ahead of Glasgow 2014.

It was one of 16 locations in England to host the relay.

Several baton bearers were chosen in recognition of their contribution to sport and the community.

During the day they took part in a variety of events and activities aimed at introducing people to new sports.
