Slavery in Hampshire closer to home than expected

A new Hampshire Constabulary task force dealing with human trafficking and slavery has said victims could be closer to home than you think.

Det Supt Dick Pearson said: "It could be someone that is tarmacing your drive. It could be someone working in a nail bar. It could be someone working in a car wash."

The force has dealt with 39 cases of potential slavery in Hampshire this year alone.
