Isle of Wight fossilised dinosaur skeleton assembled

A 5m-long fossilised dinosaur found on the Isle of Wight is being pieced back together.

The plant-eating dinosaur called Mantellisaurus was found at Compton Bay by a local collector four years ago.

The remains include nearly the entire backbone and parts of the skull.

Staff at Dinosaur Isle in Sandown are assessing how best to preserve it and whether it could become an exhibit.
