Elemental ultra high performance car built on Hampshire farm
A new ultra high-performance car is going into production at a small workshop on a Hampshire farm.
The team of former McLaren F-1 engineers behind the £100,000 Elemental aim to transfer racing technology to a car that is able to drive on public roads. It accelerates from 0-60 mph in under three seconds.
Elemental is being built in an industrial unit on a farm near Horndean, with 75% of the vehicle coming from within 15 miles of the factory.
The company said it aims to build 40-60 cars each year.
