Marwell Zoo welcomes arrival of tiny baby mouse-deer

Staff at Hampshire's Marwell Zoo have welcomed the arrival of a tiny mouse-deer.

The rare Javan chevrotain was born to parents Gus and Gwen, weighing about 370g (13oz).

The species originates from Java in Indonesia and the calf is currently the size of a rat.
