Gosport man spotted jumping on back of fire engine
A man has been spotted trying to catch a lift by jumping on the back of a fire engine.
Engineer Steve Ridley was on his commute home when he said he saw the man run and jump to catch hold of the railings on the back of the vehicle.
He filmed the "odd moment," which happened at 15:30 GMT on Thursday.
Mr Ridley said: "I couldn't work out if the guy wanted a free lift somewhere, but the amount of effort he was putting into holding on the the fire engine it would've been much easier to walk."
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for comment.
