The Roving Crows scoop top award for Best Folk Act

The Roving Crows were formed in 2007 and have toured extensively and successfully throughout England, France and Ireland.

Their music is funky and upbeat and features guitar, vocals, fiddle, drums, double and electric bass.

Their roots are in traditional Irish music, although they do have a twist of rock, funk, dance with a strong driving rhythm.

Caitlin has just gone and picked up the Best Folk Act at the Exposure Music Awards, to go alongside the two Irish Music Awards they won earlier in the year for Top Celtic Rock Band and Top Fiddle Player.
