Redditch beagle Bob loses two stone on doggy diet

A beagle who was so overweight he couldn't wag his own tail has lost two stone (12.7kg) on a diet.

Bob weighed more than five stone (31.7 kg) - nearly twice the size of a healthy beagle.

The twelve-year-old pooch, from Redditch, Worcestershire, had a number of health conditions, including a heart murmur.

Since losing the weight he has been named runner up of animal charity PDSA's Fit Club competition.
