Firefighters tackle plastic recycling unit fire in Hull

Firefighters in Hull have tackled a fire which sent toxic smoke across the east of the city.

The fire at a plastics recycling unit on Helsinki Road on the Sutton Fields Industrial Estate, which started in the early hours, is now under control.

Keith Evans from Humberside Fire and Rescue explains the operation which took place.
