East Yorkshire tourists 'not put off' by weather
The cold weather has not put tourists off visiting the East Yorkshire coast, according to the local council.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council said visitor numbers were higher than expected over the Easter break, while the South Cliff Caravan Park in Bridlington has had 2-3% more customers than last year.
Manager Alex Crutchley said: "It is important for us and the local area. The more people we can attract here, the better it is for the tourism industry in the Bridlington area."
