East Yorkshire town's 200-year-old street scramble

Children in Driffield, East Yorkshire, have taken part in the annual new year "scramble" for sweets and money in the town's streets.

The 200-year-old tradition sees shopkeepers throw coins, treats and other gifts to youngsters

The children, led by the town crier and the town's mayor, walk through the main street from shop to shop, chanting a rhyme.
