Hull's WW2 bombed cinema fails to sell at auction

A former cinema in Hull which was bombed during WW2 has failed to sell at auction.

The National Picture House, on Beverley Road, is a Grade II listed building and has been derelict for more than 70 years.

A long-running campaign to preserve it as a memorial to those who died during the bombing raids continues, but now its future remains uncertain.
