Call for new aircraft to save jobs at an East Yorkshire factory

Unions and Labour MPs have called on the government to order new jets for the Red Arrows to try and save the jobs of 400 workers at an East Yorkshire aircraft factory.

The BAE plant in Brough makes the Hawk airplane used by the RAF display team.

The Ministry of Defence said that no new aircraft would be ordered before 2030.
