Hidden historic Hull Tudor fort to disappear again
A historic Hull fort uncovered by volunteers is set to disappear from view again.
The dig at the 16th Century blockhouse commissioned by Henry VIII for the city of Hull's defences uncovered the original floor levels from the 1540s.
The defences were demolished in 1864 but not completely destroyed.
In October, the site will be backfilled to preserve the Tudor artefacts.
